Who are we:
JAM! began in early 2021 as an informal gathering of Maribyrnong residents interested in supporting the call for Maribyrnong City Council to formally acknowledge January 26 as Invasion Day / Day of Mourning / Survival Day. JAM! is a Local Reconciliation Group with Reconciliation Victoria. The JAM! Action Archive provides an overview of our activities since we began.
What we do:
JAM! seeks to support and raise awareness of First Nations cultures and justice issues. We are also more broadly interested in initiating and promoting anti-racism and diversity projects.
When we meet:
We meet monthly at Victoria University.
