Who we are:
We are Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Blue Mountains residents concerned about the dispossession, persecution and oppression experienced by First Peoples. We discuss and take action on a broad range of issues, locally and at a state and national level. These issues include constitutional recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians; challenging racism and promoting opportunities to build an understanding of our black history as a nation. We focus on reconciliation and work with First Nations people to promote the Uluru Statement from the Heart.
We have been operating since 1997.
We are affiliated with ANTAR, a national advocacy organisation dedicated specifically to the rights and overcoming the disadvantage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We are also a member of Reconciliation NSW whose vision is to create a reconciled, just and equitable community for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians in NSW.
What we do:
- Support activities of Blue Mountains Aboriginal Culture and Resource Centre;
- Annual Mirror Flash across Gundungurra Country;
- Support Schools Reconciliation Challenge;
- Run activities in Reconciliation Week;

2nd Friday each month 1pm – 3pm
