Who are we:
ANTaR Qld’s mission is to generate in Australia a moral and legal recognition of, and respect for, the distinctive status of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as First Peoples and agree to work for the protection of First Peoples’ rights, including their relationships to land, the right to self-determination, and the maintenance and growth of their unique cultures.
What we do:
ANTaR Queensland is affiliated with the national and other state ANTaR organisations. We undertake advocacy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples’ justice and rights, work to overturn structural violence, support community outreach and contribute to ‘paying the rent’.
When we meet:
The management committee meets monthly, online or in person. We encourage people to join.
