The NSW Treaty Commission is hearing evidence from Aboriginal communities across the state after commissioners were appointed in late 2024.
Appearing before a budget estimates hearing on Wednesday, NSW Aboriginal Affairs Minister David Harris said the commission was not probing what a potential treaty would look like, rather whether one should take place at all.
